Purpose:
This program is to be used as an input device for FamiTracker and perhaps other Tracker software. It was designed specifically to make creating Melodies and backbeats quick and easy by only using the mouse (no keyboard note entry required). It only allows the user to create the basic notes and octaves. Once you get your notes to FamiTracker, you can do all your customization you would normally do.

  1) How to setup my Path for Famitracker to load my notes:
    a. Go to the bottom of the program and click the [...] button. Select a *.ftm file that has at least 1 instrument in it. There are some templates provided, but feel free to use your own.

    b. Associate *.ftm files to be opened using FamiTracker.
To do this follow these steps:
         1. Right click on an *.ftm file in Windows Explorer.
         2. Click "Open with..."
         3. Make sure "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is checked.
         4. Browse to your FamiTracker.exe program and click "OK".

TROUBLESHOOTING:
ISSUE: I clicked the [Load Notes to FamiTracker] button and get this error.
"Error Opening (*.ftm) template file - The system cannot find the file specified"
SOLUTION: Click the [...] button at the bottom of the program and select your *.ftm template path.
A template needs at least 1 Instrument created in order for it to work. Otherwise, it may just put in notes that don't play.

ISSUE: My notes from the Sequencer are not getting sent over to FamiTracker. FamiTracker loads though.
SOLUTION: If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must Disable UAC (User Account Control).

To disable UAC, do the following:
      1. Click that symbol thing in Vista/Windows 7 in the bottom left of the desktop.
      2. In the bottom left, type "UAC".
      3. Press Enter.
      4. Drag the slider the bottom "Never notify".
      5. Click [OK]. UAC is now disabled.
      6. After you disable UAC, you must restart your computer for it to take affect.
